About Our Practice

At Medford PDO you'll never be treated like a number: you'll be treated like family.

At Medford Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, our mission is simple: to provide personalized, high-quality dental and orthodontic care in a warm, family-friendly environment. As a family-owned and operated practice, we treat every patient like part of our own – taking time to listen, connect, and deliver care that’s never rushed or “cookie-cutter”. We’re here to make healthy smiles fun, comfortable, and something your family actually looks forward to. We’re proud to be a local family-owned practice: not a corporate chain.

That means when you visit us, you’ll see Dr. Ashley and Dr. Matt personally caring for your family at every visit: not a rotating list of doctors

Our Medford office was designed with families in mind – bright, welcoming, with the most modern technology, and full of thoughtful touches to make visits easy and stress-free. From your child’s first dental visit to your teen’s braces or clear aligner treatment: we offer everything your family needs all under one roof.

Dr. Matthew Cassera, DMD, MBS

Dr. Matt started his journey at Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) before earning his Master’s degree at Rutgers University. He then continued on to the University of Pennsylvania, where he completed both dental school and orthodontic residency. After years of training and experience, he is thrilled to now care for families right here in Medford, alongside his wife Dr. Ashley, who happens to be an amazing pediatric dentist.

When not in the office, you can catch Dr. Matt making homemade pizza, relaxing at the Jersey Shore, or trying to convince his 4 kids that flossing really is cool.

Meet Dr. Ashley Lebak, DMD

Dr. Ashley is a board certified pediatric dentist, who earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, and completed her pediatric dental residency at Temple University Hospital, where she discovered her true passion for caring for children and families. She currently serves as the Program Director for Cooper University Hospital’s pediatric dental residency program, where she trains future pediatric dentists and shares her love for creating positive dental experiences.

Now, alongside Dr. Matt, she is so proud to bring that same level of compassion and care to their family-run practice here in Medford — where every child and every smile matters to them.

Outside the office, she is a busy mom of four, lover of beach days, and believer that a great smile (and maybe a little laughter) can brighten any day.
